Researcher biography

Darren Roberts is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with subspecialisation in clinical pharmacology and nephrology. He currently works between Canberra (consultant physician in nephrology and associate professor in academic pharmacology at ANU) and Sydney (consultant physician in clinical pharmacology and toxicology and Honorary Associate Professor at School of Medicine, University of Sydney). His clinical and academic experience spans appointments at multiple hospitals in Australia and the United Kingdom and he holds positions on peak hospital, government and professional advisory committees. Darren's research interests include pharmacokinetics and drug dosing in impaired renal function, influence of dialysis on xenobiotic clearance and evidence-based medicine and guideline development.
