Philip graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 2008. He has been working as hospital Pharmacist since then doing internship at Repatriation General Hospital in Adelaide, then moving to Port Augusta Hospital in country South Australia where he was stationed for 4 years from 2010 – 2013 working mainly as a clinical pharmacist. Philip then returned to Adelaide to work at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital initially as a senior pharmacist in the general medicine area and then moved on to working as a specialist pharmacist in Haematology/Oncology and Infectious Diseases. He is moving to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in early 2018 to research the optimisation of antimicrobial regimens in patients with haematological malignancies and undergoing haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
