CRE RESPOND proudly presents the Early Diagnostics: An Update on Metagenomics seminar! This seminar will take place on Thursday 15 October 2026, at 12pm-1pm.

Advances in diagnostic technology are transforming the speed and accuracy of infectious disease detection. This seminar will focus on the role of metagenomic sequencing in bloodstream infections and viral meningitis. Featuring Dr Patrick Harris as Chairperson and presentations from experts in the field, the session will explore how early and accurate diagnostics can guide targeted antimicrobial therapy and reduce resistance.
