OPAT Masterclass Webinar Series
Starting on March 19 2020, in partnership with our industry partners, we are delivering a series of four webinars focused on the Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT).
Each of the webinars will be broadcast live as well as recorded for later viewing or listening. The format will consist of four different topics at each of the webinars across four different cities around the country.
We will aim to cover both the clinical and academic components of each of the topics and allow time for live and online Q&A sessions.
Broadly, the four themes will be:
- Pulmonary infections in outpatient setting (Online)
- Infective endocarditis treatment in outpatient setting ( Online)
- Infections of bone and joint in outpatient setting (Online)
- Treating infections in cancer patients in an outpatient setting (Online)
We are proud to deliver this educational and research capacity building activity designed to connect the leaders in the field with relevant clinicians, researchers and industry across the country and abroad.
OPAT in the context of the HITHÂ is increasing in popularity and usage globally and the need for information on practices and principles of its use are evident.
Current trends highlight opportunities for further expansion of scope and mechanisms to provide more convenient and cost-effective care.
